image for John Kennedy's Murderer Revealed in Tapes Made by Jackie Onassis says Caroline Kennedy

Caroline Kennedy says that she has come into a collection of tapes made by Jackie Kennedy Onassis in which Jackie thought she knew the murderer of her husband, President John F. Kennedy, back in 1963.

A spokesman for Caroline says that, although Jackie had no proof, she was told by independent investigators hired by her second husband, Aristotle Onassis that they had traced everything back to Vice President Lyndon Johnson's staff.

"She plainly states on the tapes that she suspected the same all along but that she was not sure that then-president Johnson had anything at all to do with what happened", stated the spokesperson.

Apparently a member of the Johnson staff had contact with military leaders in Cuba and that Harvey Oswald was a patsy.

An unnamed friend of Caroline has also come forward to say that the Cuban missile crisis seemed to be fading and that certain members of the US government still wanted to go after Fidel Castro. So they looked for and found a friend on Johnson's staff.

Look for more updates as the tapes may be turned over to the FBI and gone through thoroughly. At this time, no member of Johnson's staff has been named although he is said to have died during the early 1990's.
