Giffords had been on Sarah Palin hit/hate list

Tucson, Arizona - (Big Bang Theory): Gabrielle Giffords had appeared on a Sarah Palin target map using gun sights to identify 20 House Democrats backing the new health care law.

Her shooting today outside a Tucson grocery store was not of the traditional drive-by variety.

But seasoned US commentators have reminded the media that every Bush Family Evil Empire political campaign renewal since the 1960s has been marked with bizarre, gunshot related fatalities.

Last week John P Wheeler III's lifeless corpse was found in a Wilmington landfill in a case that's said to be baffling the Feds.

Today's atrocity saw Giffords and ten others gunned down by a supermarket crazy - named by a local radio station as Afghan War vet Jared Laughner.

One of the fatalities was a US District Judge and a number of children also perished.

"America's goin crazy," locals wailed as Giffords was rushed for emergency surgery.

An update follows shortly.
