image for Solar eclipse claims Shah of Persia son suicide
The Capricorn solar eclipse has claimed the life of Prince Alireza Pahlavi

Boston, Massachusetts - (Lunacies): Ten years ago an eclipsed full moon snaffled up the life of his drug addict sister Leila - in a seedy London hotel overdose.

Today another powerful celestial aspect has seen the suicide of Alireza Pahlavi, younger son of the Shit of Persia.

The 44 year-old Persian exile was found OD'd at his home in Boston - just as the shadow of a solar eclipse straddled much of Iran.

Three other siblings remain - elder brother Reza, sister Farahnaz and half-sister Shahnaz.

Along with their mother ex-Empress Farah Diba Pahlavi they lost a series of international lawsuits attempting to regain their huge sequestered wealth by the Iranian Ayatollahs.

Last year the last of the family's gold deposits was sold from the comfort and security of its Swiss bank safety deposit box.

A string of property disasters has also seen banks forclose on personal overdrafts and send in the Repo Men for repayment of loans.

Impending penury has hit the family hard - 'like the Boxing Day tsunami', according to private sources.

Today's powerful partial eclipse has also triggered other disasters including a brace of earthquakes around the world - in Chile and in the UK.
