Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks had been on the run for months due to a few little missteps in life that got him into hot water with everyone from Interpol to the United States Attorney General. Keeping one step ahead of the law had taken its toll on Assange. He was tired of running and he was hungry.
Several eyewitnesses called the FBI when they spotted Assange hiding under a table at a Charleston, South Carolina Outback Steakhouse. He is said to have told them not to turn him in. When he was asked why he was hiding in a chain restaurant, he reportedly claimed he didn't know it was a steakhouse until he was already inside. He saw the word 'Outback' and figured it was the only safe place to hide out.
Turns out, Assange decided to dine at the Outback while waiting for authorities to arrive and finally take him into custody. He raved about the bloomin' onion and in fact, asked the chef for the recipe to the secret dipping sauce, which he immediately posted on his website.
