Rush Limbaugh called a press conference yesterday to counter a ground swell of public opinion that erupted after his negative remarks about Native Americans. Limbaugh, who could not care less, felt threatened by a possible boycott of his advertisers by ordinary Americans.
Limbaugh started his statement by declaring, "I was just kidding for God's sake! Indians with feathers are totally OK by me. It's the Indians with the Dots that are a menace. As long as they stay on the reservation and kill a buffalo or two, I got no complaint. As for my statement, it was written by my staff, good hard-working Americans who love their country. True, more than a few of them are alcoholic, oxycontin-crazed rejects from a KKK rehab center, but they know my audience and work hard to please."
Limbaugh finished by saying, "Now please, let's get back to the important things that really matter to the folks that know me, love me, and follow my every word. The real enemies of this country are the negroes, the Jews, the spics, the Muslims, and anyone with an IQ over eighty-seven. They are the enemies! As far as the Constitution of the United States is concerned I have this to say------ LET MY PEOPLE GO!
