Washington--John Boehner was in Ohio this weekend trying to get Republicans fired up to vote November 2.
"Do you feel Washington is listening to you?" Boehner screamed into the microphone, while looking at a reflection of himself.
"I think Washington doesn't care about you. That is why you need to get out and vote for the people that do care for you. The people that will give you jobs in the military. The people that won't tax the rich. The people that will make sure polluters don't pay. These people can't add jobs to their businesses if they are paying taxes," Mr. Boehner added.
Mr. Boehner didn't say how he would really fix the problems in Washington. He just thanked the voters of Ohio for keeping him in office for 19 years.
"I think Mr. Boehner is right, Washington doesn't care about the common folk. They only care about pushing through things that clean up the air we breathe while making me less dependent on major corporations. I need those major corporations to get rich, or my 401k won't do anything." Monica Turk, a Boehner supporter, said.
Mr. Boehner did make references to "Pledge to America" in his little speech, and told people to go to his website to see the real beauty of his plan to save Washington.
