BROOKLYN - After weeks of denial, Jake Gyllenhaal has finally confirmed the rumor that he does indeed consider Taylor Swift to be the 'Girl of His Dreams.'
Gyllenhaal, who starred in the 2005 gay themed movie Brokeback Mountain, said that from the very first time that he saw Taylor singing her hit "Teardrops On My Guitar, Kleenex On My Pillow" he knew that there was something special about her, and not just the fact that she was a multi-million dollar teenager.
He also added that the fact that she was wearing the shortest and tightest Daisy Duke short shorts that he had ever seen also did not have anything to do with his instant infatuation.
Gyllenhaal, as his maternal grandfather calls him, said that he was struck with the way that Taylor could string words together that rhymed in such a way that the rhyme scheme was not only rhythmic in nature but melodious in personality.
After weeks of text messaging back and forth the two finally got together at Guido's Hot Dog Shack #7 in downtown Brooklyn.
He laughs when he mentions that they learned that each one likes to add walnuts to their hot dogs.
The happy couple visited the set of Saturday Night Live and then went to Yankee Stadium where the New York Yankees, who were eliminated by the Texas Rangers in the American League Championship Game, will not be playing any games until next year.
SIDENOTE: Taylor, who writes songs about her relationships, says that she is currently working on a song about Jake. When asked what the title is she blushed and said the title is "He's My Hot Doggin' Hot Dog Man."
