Los Angeles CA: A five alarm fire destroyed the Sex Toy Uncanny Devices (STUD) manufacturing facilities located in an industrial park close to the city's downtown area. STUD manufactures a quality line of lifelike adult sex toys which include rubberized-plastic dildos, vaginas and full size blowup dolls.
The LAFD fire chief on the scene said "arson was suspected, but there was no loss of life, as the fire occurred after midnight. Santa Ana winds were responsible for the rapid burning of the buildings. A cloud of noxious gas, which smelled like rotten onions, was released from the burning rubberized-plastic material but dissipated quickly."
A spokesperson for STUD, later in the morning, said "other night shift workers at companies located in the industrial park heard what sounded like BANG, BANG, BANG accompanied by loud hissing noises. These turned out to be gas inflated STUD products that were blown by the winds and are now stuck to the upper floors of office buildings in downtown Los Angeles."
The STUD CEO said "his company would pay for the total cleanup and not a dime of Angelinos' tax money would be needed. It's also ironic that the fire happened at this time, since STUD was to move to San Francisco CA next month where the majority of its products are sold."
