More and more gay people are creating their own religions.
Larry Sabu, 20, is just one of dozens of proud gay men who have dedicated their spare time to converting their sheds into gay temples to a gay Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour.
"I think that somewhere out there beyond the fluffy clouds a big gay God is smiling down on what we are doing", Larry said.
Taking traditional Christian rituals, Larry has altered them to suit his needs.
"Holy wine is so dated, so we instead drink only the best vodka and cranberry juice. I got a gay friend to carve a big hard wooden naked male model out of a stump of Austrian oak that replaces that tatty old skinny Crucified Christ thing out in the shed."
Songs of praise include melodies of Elton John hits and several Abba numbers.
"I ditched that whole hell idea too", Larry told us, "it was too drab and depressing for the congregations taste. Instead I invented an alternative reality where bad disco tunes are played on a loop"
