image for Small Percentage of Voters Age 18-22 Voting for Obama in 2010

In a recent poll, results of which are due out today or tomorrow, conducted by the Campus R-U-Ready-2-Vote Semi-Official Campus Poll indicates that approximately 26% of all college students across the country believe that President Obama's presidential term will be up in November and they must vote for him in the mid-terms in order to keep him on as President.

Even when confronted with the facts that Mr. Obama still has two more years to go before either being re-elected or stepping down as President in 2012, many of the college students were adamant that they are right and that they need to do everything they can to make sure Mr. Obama stays in office.

Said Heather Rimba, 19 and President of the un-official "Re-elect Barack Obama in 2010" campaign claims it is her mission to get students and others out to vote for Mr. Obama come November. "I'm no political wizard-in fact, I don't even take a Poly Sci course, but I do watch some news and it seems lately every time I turn on the television to some news show, I'm being reminded by Mr. President that now is not the time to back down. It is pretty apparent he means the time is at hand, not two years from now, and I'm behind him 100%.

So far, Rimba claims she has at least 2,500 signatures on a petition to allow her to use PAC money to buy poster paper, magic markers and sticks to make signs to deliver to campuses all across America reading "President Barack Obama - A President Who Can't Afford to Lose in 2010."

While school officials where Rimba attends her first year of fashion designer school wonder exactly what this person's ulterior motive could be, Rimba simply states "Look, I am all for watching the news, but when false things are being spread about my favorite President, things that could ultimate lead to him missing his window of opportunity, I will do everything in my power to give him the shot in the arm he needs to succeed in this upcoming election so he can remain our President for however long he wants or until the next election, whichever comes first."
