It was a festive gathering yesterday as the GOP announced their Pledge to America.
"This is a four point program," Congressman John Boehner stated proudly. "It is Ishy!"
The assembled crowd of legislators roared in approval!
"It is Cocky," Boehner shouted again, and the crowd shouted with glee.
"It is Pooh, and it is more Pooh!" The legislators stood in a standing ovation.
As a band played, "Happy Days are Here Again," the entire Republican leadership joined hands and shouted in unison, ""Ishy," and the crowed roared.
"Cocky," they shouted out, and the crowd roared once more, "Pooh! Pooh!" and the assembled started to dance and run around in circles shouting "God is great!"
Several of the older male members seemed exhausted to the point of collapse and more than a few of the female legislators appeared to have a sexual flush. No one would speak to the specifics of the Pledge.
Senator John McCain was asked by a reporter as he lefts the room, what he thought of the Pledge. McCain replied, "I am genuine American hero, you know. I was a prisoner of war. Where's the men's room?"
