September 11th: this year quite good actually

On September the 11th, 2001, over 3000 people died through terrorist attacks in New York. Relatives of the victims have organised a protest every year since then.

The protesters are not protesting against the terrorists attacks themselves, but rather that the calendar should be changed to delete the date of September 11th.

A representative of the protesters said, "What happened that day was horrific. We want to make sure that September 11th never happens again. Unfortunately another one has happened this year, and although nobody died, we regret the insensitivity of holding another September 11th on the anniversary of September 11th. Can we please ban September 11th and just get straight to the 12th?"

Make MonkeyInTheBath's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
