President Obama is facing a storm of protest from voters across the country who think he's not funny enough to be President any more.
One voter in Utah, which, as everyone knows, is the funniest state in the country, said "I listened to all Obama's speeches on YouTube but unfortunately they just didn't make me laugh." Another voter in California, the home of gay marriages, said "He tries to get a laugh by smiling and shouting out to members of his audience like a real comedian but he falls flat on his face. Nobody in my family thinks he's funny."
One expert on humour said that the President needs a new image. "Being black obviously helps. But he simply doesn't use it to his advantage. He should be swearing at his audience and rolling his eyes like Richard Pryor. Or he could try putting on an Irish accent and calling himself O'bama. But he needs to do something quickly. Everyone remembers the comic routine of Ronald Reagan, who feigned stupidity, and upon whom actor Leslie Nielson based all his characters. Obama acts too clever and nobody likes a smartass."
