Although the flow of oil has been cut off finally according to BP Oil officials, there is still much to deal with in the future, in fact the history of the United States.
"Most people have heard about our earlier warnings about the Gulf floor shift causing a set of earthquakes that would trigger the New Madrid Fault, basically cutting the United States in half", stated a spokesman for a Florida Think Tank.
"People need to know that there are thousands of other dry holes down there and they have shifted the ocean's floor quite a bit", stated Arnold Hammers.
However, there is yet another possible scenario that no one can refute:
Should the pressure on the oil cap reach high enough to cause an explosion, the water down there could be heated to over 500 degrees.
This, according to Hammers, would almost certainly cause a major tsunami to hit the whole US coast as well as parts of Mexico and could wipe out many island nations.
"We don't like to mention these things but we have to bring them out as people need a choice where they need to live. The coastal cities are more in danger everyday. That would also include any cities near fault lines."
