After years of looking the other way, Democrat Barney Frank came out today in favor of testing illegal drivers after being rear ended by an uninsured and undocumented driver.
Massachusetts is said to be home to about 200,000 illegal aliens, check that, make it 199,999 since Auntie Zulu, Obama's relative was granted asylum after living here illegally since being ordered deported 8 years ago, and over 15,000 unlicensed drivers.
Seems in the spirit of Human Rights, illegal aliens never had to produce a valid driver's license in order to register a motor vehicle in the state. As a result, insurance rates for hard working residents rose dramatically since insurance now posted a healthy surcharge to their policies to cover 'uninsured motorists.'
Apparently, that attitude is changing since Barney was rear ended in a late night sojourn in the Combat Zone as his solar powered car humming along at 5 mph while Barney took in the sights, was hit from behind by illegal immigrant Sasheesh Mohammad Al Kabab, driving a '59 Red Chevy Impala low rider.
While no one was badly injured, Frank threw a hissy fit when he was informed that his car insurance rates would go up by over $1500 in his next semi-annual installment since Al Kabab was here illegally, had no insurance, and could not be located in his public housing apartment paid for by the city of Boston where he either worked as a janitor for the parole board or the
Fire Department Union.
In addition to pushing for the new legislation, Frank vowed to work with outgoing Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd for the Federal Government to nationalize all car insurance companies now doing business in the US.
"We should no longer tolerate these companies and their insane profits. Government isn't responsible for these high rates to insure cars...it's greed, pure and simple!"
Yesterday Boston police reported 175 car jackings with violence, 342 stolen cars left in municipal parking lots, 3,256 accidents on Rt. 128, and 2500 abandoned cars involved in hit and runs owned by illegals.
Governor Deval 'Cadillac' Deval, running for re election, downplayed the report. "Hey....it's still better than Chicago...don't pick on us!"
