A 19 metres tall and 12 metres wide statue of Jesus Christ no longer stands after Jesus' relative, Mother Nature, was alleged to have been called in to "strike it down".

In Ohio, locals were at a loss why a lightening strike choose there treasured statue.

One local says the 6 year old statue was known as the "King Of Kings", but new little of the anger it was creating upstairs.

Even though there's been no official statement from the royal telephone, it is believed the statue was disliked from the beginning and Jesus couldn't take it anymore.

No one was injured, though the same can't be said for the statue which was burnt into ash and steel.
