Taylor Swift, American Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Academy of Country Music Award winner and lots of other awards to her credit too, has been visited by the ghost of country music legend, Hank Williams who died on New Year's Eve of 1952 aged 29. Williams, apparantly looking pretty good for his ghostly years, allegedly told Swift that she was a totally crap country singer.
It is thought that millions of die hard country fans will agree with the ghost of the man who has been called the greatest country singer ever. They have been suffering Swift's style of "elevator music" for too long. "The stuff she wails simply has no soul!" said an indignant fan standing outside the old Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, apparantly waiting and hoping for a 1950s style comeback of real country music.
It's not just the ghost of Hank Williams who is pissed off by this pretty and attractive, but country-less singer. There have been reports that the ghosts of Hank Snow, Roy Acuff, Ernest Tubb and Patsy Cline have also been hassling Taylor Swift, asking her when if ever she will start to actually sing a real country song.
Breaking News: It has just been reported by Madame Futuro, the famed Nashville clairvoyant, that the ghosts of the famous country stars have given up hope that Swift will ever convert to country music. They are now reportedly having a party in the old Ryman Auditorium, much to the delight of the indignant fan, and have just completed recording a spiritual version of Old Shep (featuring the ghost of the real Old Shep).
