image for Obama Backs Down After Slamming Las Vegas, Says He Meant Arkansas!
Mayor of Las Vegas Left Playing with Himself After another Obama Slam!

In an unusual turn about, Barry "The Communicator" reversed himself today, just hours after slamming Las Vegas, again, and issued a very rare apology for his 'slip.'

Nevada elected officials rose in rage after Obama once again took a below the belt swipe at struggling Las Vegas, saying Americans should not be taking trips there and 'blowing their hard earned cash."

Last year Obama all but crippled the vacation destination after he scolded corporations for holding stockholder meetings and conventions in the city which resulted in massive cancellations of pre bookings.

Nevada, and especially Las Vegas, has been hard hit by the global economic implosion. Las Vegas leads the nation in foreclosures, and is close to Detroit in figures detailing massive unemployment.

Reacting to the vocal criticism Obama issued a statement through Press Secretary Robert Gibbs saying simply "he misspoke." Gibbs denied that 2 senior teleprompter executives plus the Teleprompter Czar had been either fired or transferred to Fannie Mae.

"Sometimes the President miss speaks," said Gibbs. "Certainly you can understand that with all the pressure he's been under lately dealing with the massive collapse of his promised election platform, and the out right hostility shown to him by the majority of the American People. "

In closing out the news conference, and not taking any questions, Gibbs added as he left the platform, that the President was very clear that he meant to warn the American Public about traveling to Arkansas.

" At least until we can address the devastation caused by a recent blizzard of Snippets unleashed by The Spoof.com. Right now, it ain't safe to go there!"
