Today Rush Limbaugh, outspoken critic of everything that is not conservative Republican, accepted a role in a movie. The title of the film is "The Adventures of a Sky Pirate" in which he plays the leader of a gang of criminals who use special aircraft to hijack and rob jumbo jets.
While this in and of itself is not terribly unusual or strange, the film is not the type of motion picture normally associated with Mr. Lumbaugh. The movie is a pornographic adventure featuring graphic sex and graphic violence.
The plot calls for Limbaugh's character to lead the band of pirates to capture a jumbo jet full of women. The women, of course, bargain for their release by offering the pirate crew sex. At various times during the resulting sexual adventure, teams of Army Special Forces attempt to rescue the women. This results in fights, hand to hand and with firearms, that have some very graphic and disgusting results. The special effects are disturbingly realistic.
Eventually, the Army men find the captive women, a huge sexual scene goes on, including Limbaugh's scene wherein he has sex not only with three different women, but with two men as well.
"Working in radio is great," Rush says, "But I always wanted to make movies. This was my first big chance. It was really fun, and I constantly mess up my lines or the blocking so we have to re-shoot or rehearse again. I've loved the rehearsals. I think I've worked with every single on-screen talent here, at least in rehearsals, so the directors could figure out exactly with whom I should have my scenes for the final cuts."
The film shooting is almost complete. Editing will begin in two weeks, if all goes well, and the movie could be released in as little as two months. Rush Limbaugh may well have new fans, indeed, a new fan base, after the film is released.
