After his speech on sending funds to Haiti Saturday, President Obama answered a question hurled from the reporters on the way out.
"What about Rush Limbaugh's statement on aid to Haiti?"
In response the President simply yelled, "Rush Limbaugh is an idiot!"
UP2 has since reviewed the remarks by Mr. Limbaugh and they were something to the effect that "It's fine to help Haiti as America, at least for now, is a free country. But as for sending funds, by the millions, you as a taxpayer already have. Those millions that the 'President' is sending is YOUR money sent in by your taxes!"
Meanwhile we cannot print the remarks of the President on Pat Robertson, but insiders say they were plentiful.
Add to that, the quiet after the remarks by Obama's former 20-year Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, that America be damned. Why have we have heard so little about from the President?
So, who's the idiot here?
Perhaps it's each of us, who send in our money each April 15th without any control over whose pockets it winds up in. Of course we want to help the people of Haiti, but that IS our money that Obama is so magnanimous about.
Meanwhile, the US Senate, after much condemnation of companies and banks in private enterprise showing a profit, has voted themselves still more benefits over the last week.
