President Barrack Obama abruptly switched political parties Monday, stating that he can no longer support the racist policies of his former Democratic colleagues.
The announcement comes just days after Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid(Drunk-Arizona), was chastised for making racist comments about the president.
Reid's comments about Obama's light skin tone and lack of "Negro dialect", set off a smoldering fire of meek protest within his own party. Reaction from the other party however was strong and swift!
Senator John Cornyn (Reformed Drunk-Texas), the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said in a statement that Reid should resign, calling his comments "embarrassing and racially insensitive."
The republican committee issued it's own statement, saying that it welcomed Mr. Obama's defection and adding that "of course he'll have to start at the bottom, shining shoes and such, but that eventually, through hard work and determination, he might just make it to the top ranks of the Reformed Drunk Party."
