A Honolulu based realtor mistakenly booked radio personality Rush Limbaugh, and President Barrack Obama into the same Hawaiian vacation condo at the same time. The mistake was discovered after Mr. Limbaugh arrived and tried to take possession of the time-share unit only to discover that it was already occupied by the president and his family.
"I apologize for any misunderstandings, but it was an honest mistake!" explained angry realtor Chia Hou, when contacted by phone for this story. "Computers do make mistakes, you know!", he added, before slamming down the reciever.
The accidental encounter between the two apparently did not go well. Arriving late in the evening after numerous airline delays, the exhausted Mr. Limbaugh was surprised to find the condo's lights on and the front door open.
Meanwhile, in the master suite, President Obama was nudged awake by his wife, Michelle, after she heard noises. Grabbing a baseball bat, Mr. Obama made his way down stairs where he encountered the intruder, who had a gun drawn and was ready to fire. The late night confrontation landed Mr. Limbaugh in the hospital with chest pains, and caused Mr. Obama to start smoking again.
Since then security has once again been tightened around the first family. So much so that now only a well-meaning but deranged homeless person, or a Muslim extremist, could get close to them. Mr. Limbaugh has since recovered and is back doing daily radio broadcasts while Mr. Hou's realtors license is under review by the state board and he may not work in the islands again.
