Mother Theresa ready for X Factor

A prominent medium in Washington DC claimed that she has been contacted by Mother Theresa of Calcutta, the late saint famous for her care for the poor, and that she has been asked to make an application on her behalf to X Factor.

Miss Joanne Bluebell, a medium revered by celebrities and politicians in Washington told our reporter that she was still in shock after her encounter with Mother Theresa last night. She said: "It was certainly her. She showed me her Calcutta bus pass to prove her identity. She was sorry that she had spent so many years helping the poor and achieved nothing. And also…"

Miss Bluebell was not able to finish her words as suddenly she was again contacted by Mother Theresa and after releasing a few discreet screams she started speaking as her:

"I know very well now how the world is run and I regret my years devoted to religion. I am not a dumb girl. I will prove this to everyone by coming back and winning the X Factor. I didn't know fame and money was so easy to get. I thought that life could only have a meaning by abstaining and not enjoying yourself. What a baloney. I wish I had a TV set before. But it's never too late. I'm coming back."

At this point Miss Bluebell (with Mother Theresa in her) began dancing on her sofa and made a plunge on our reporter. The rest is unfortunately not fit to publish in this newspaper.

Make Mark Merton's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
