Former President Jimmy Carter called talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, a racist after hearing that Limbaugh might try to buy the St. Louis Rams NFL football team.
"Limbaugh can't OWN black players on the team", stated Carter, "that went out a hundred and fifty years ago."
"While I can't recall which team it was-you'll have to ask Larry King -President Lincoln freed the football players in 1862. It was ATLANTA, I remember now."
"President Abraham Lincoln sent General Sherman to Atlanta and he burned it down so there could be no black football players being owned by white people in Atlanta. Surely people in St. Louis don't want their city burned down."
"Recently, they had a thing involving a black player fighting dogs in Atlanta. That's not right either, and Obama should have sent Sherman once again."
Mr. Peabody had a dog named Sherman once, I think, -you'll have to ask Larry King. No, come to think of it, Sherman was the kid, not the dog."
"General Sherman as a kid defending dogs. Isn't it funny how history urppp! repeats itself? Pardon."
The former president then began on Snoopy and the Peanuts characters and then his crop this year and finally stated that he was not selling a single peanut to Rush Limbaugh.
