HOLLYWOOD - Actress MacKenzie Phillips wrote a book about her years of working as a cleaning woman for her father's Hollywood housecleaning service.
The ex-employee of the housecleaning service named The Mess Fixers has been asked to make a special dancing appearance on Dancing With The Stars.
Phillips who is 49, but looks 46, will be dancing a paso doble with DWTS judge Len Goodman who is 65, but looks 75.
Host Tom Bergeron said that the show's producers Bernadette Penderlicki and Curtis Verflippet asked the author of the best selling book Vacuuming Sucks if she would agree to come on the show and dance with Goodman.
They said that MacKenzie immediately agreed saying that she has always had a crush on the 65-year-old British judge.
Kenzy, as her charm school instructor calls her, has revealed that she has just formed a band with Mama Cass Elliot's daughter Ouchi and Denny Doherty's two daughters Jennica and Emmina. They call their band The Daughters of The Mamas and The Papas.
Phillips says that they have all ready been booked to play at the seventh game of the this year's Major League Baseball World Series.
MacKenzie said that her band performs cover versions of old 60s songs by bands like like The Mamas and The Papas, Paul Revere and The Raiders, The Electric Prunes, Three Dog Night, and Drizzle Brickyard.
She was asked how her book sales are going. She answered that they have literally gone through the roof especially in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where recent heavy rains damaged the roof at a local Barnes and Noble Bookstore.
The authoress smiled and said that the book's second printing will actually include personal photos of her in various stages of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting ceiling fans.
MacKenzie beamed with pride when she revealed that there is already talk of a movie.
When Phillips was asked who she would like to see portray her up on the silver screen, she immediately answered, Valerie Bertinelli.
