North Dakota - A producer of the TV Series Prison Break, came forward with the news that Prison Break is based on the forgotten prison break incident at North Dakota State Penitentiary in 1961.

The government never televised information about the escapees, in fear that the people would blame the government. The escapees were never found and the story went down in history, forgotten.

That is until 1982, when the entire story was leaked by Edward Kennedy! When Edward Kennedy died earlier this week, he left a note saying the public needed to be informed about this.

The 1961 Brief titled "Prison Break - North Dakota State Penitentiary, October 3, 1961" talks about an inmate by the name of Charles Lee Dirkson who was put on Death Row for the murder of an undisclosed senator's brother. His brother, Rick Terrance Nalm held up a bank and got into the prison. There they worked with the likes of Liam Hines (T-Bag in the TV show), Wesley Hurt (Abrucci), and Jorge Baker, a Latino-American inmate (Sucre).

A prison CO, Kyle Burke, was killed in the escape and unlike his movie characterization, did not live to chase after Dirkson and Nalm. But, a nurse, Theresa Alice McDonald abetted the convicts and then disappeared, probably to rendezvous with Nalm, whom she had fallen in love with.

"The story boggles my imagination," said the show producer during the interview. "There were many times I wanted to let it out, but Kennedy told me to wait... and now I know why."

Make Timotee VandWag's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
