image for Tainted Jackson Drug Recall Hits Hollywood
Michael's Last Supper?

HOLLYWOOD, CA - Two "tainted lots" of a generic version of propofol, a powerful sedative and anesthetic used by pop icon Michael Jackson before his death, have been recalled by the drug maker.

The Los Angeles Times indicated police found the drug among the contents of Jackson's walk-in medicine cabinet at his rented mansion in Holmby Hills, California.

Though no link between Jackson's death and the drug has been established, the recall is expected to hit Hollywood hard; thousands of celebrities commonly use propofol to numb themselves from the aches and pains incurred from dealing with a ceaseless onslaught of media attention.

Researchers indicated they will most likely have to concentrate on finding a new way to deal with "media fatigue," as a cure for the feverish media frenzy that causes the condition is currently unknown.
