image for FDA Recommends Deviled Eggs Recipe Attributed To O. B. Laden Should Be Avoided

Washington, DC The Food and Drug Administration has issued a warning that a Deviled Eggs recipe making the rounds through email should be avoided at all costs. The recipe is said to contain many ingredients and preparation instructions that could be dangerous to your health.

As an example, while most Deviled Egg recipes call for hard boiled eggs, the writer of this recipe says that the eggs should be broken open and left standing in a bowl on a radiator for a good two or three day, after which time they are to be reintroduced to their shells and thoroughly boiled. The FDA warns that this practice may encourage bacterial growth and, when eaten, can lead to stomach cramps, nausea, coma and perhaps death.

In addition, while most recipes call for celery, ham, mayonnaise and mustard, this recipe calls for denuded scorpions - crushed whole, warfarin, rattlesnake venom and green-spored Lepiota mushrooms. All of these ingredients are of a category referred to at the FDA as...'poisons'. These..'poisons'...can lead to various ailments including, but not limited to, loss of blood, neurological disorders, paralysis, coma, and finally death.

It should also be stated that the defining characteristic of this mischievous email is that the signature at the bottom is 'O.B. Laden'. Please take heed and feel free to distribute this warning to friends and family.

In the meantime, have a wonderful, safe, 4th of July, courtesy TheSpoof.com
