Hollywood Ca - The latest movie instalment of the Twilight series has been put on indefinite hold until accusations of plagiarism against author Stephenie Meyer are satisfactorily resolved.
The accusations stem from a former college roommate of Meyer, who alleges that the writer stole the whole concept of Twilight from a short story she had written. Meyer denies the allegations, claiming that the story of Bella Swan and her vampire lover Edward Cullen came to her in a dream.
However, the movers and shakers in Hollywood, fearing a slew of lawsuits, have put the project on hold.
Actors, Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are reportedly prepared to jump ship indefinitely, providing parts can be found for them in the hottest ticket in town, A Spoof.com collaboration of a Star Trek epic, conceived by BuckwheatsButt and championed by Jalapenoman of theSpoof.com
"Hey, screw the fans," Pattinson quipped. "We're only in this for the money."
More as we get it.
