Long pork has gone to the top of the menu at the Obama White House, according to Washington insiders. The delicious treat is served at least twice a week and is always the entree at White House parties.
Barack Obama first began eating long pork as a child in Indonesia. It became his favourite food, and Mr. Obama brought many family recipes with him to the White House. The president likes his meat cooked well-done, with lots of black pepper and exotic spices.
Michelle Obama prefers stewed long pork, served with fresh herbs and tomatoes. Michelle planted herbs in her garden specifically for long pork. She is looking forward to barbecues in the Summer featuring the exotic meat.
The president prefers meat from the male long pork, or 'jack', while Michelle prefers to eat the female or 'jill'. All long pork served at the White House is free range, and usually comes from Iowa.
Michelle found an excellent recipe for long pork in a cookbook she was reading and told the White House chef about it. Tonight the White House will serve long pork with fava beans with a brisk Chianti wine.
The cookbook is called 'Silence of the Lambs'.
