In an exclusive interview with the New York Times, the ousted CEO of General Motors explained the reason why he decided to resign.
Slurring his words under the blue haze influence of nicotine and Jack, he said that it wasn't the threats against his wife or his kids.
"Nah..I could handle that," he declared defiantly. "And I didn't believe those guys anyway...even if their names were Clemenza and Tessio."
When asked if he thought Obama and his "crew" were simply bluffing, he burped out, "You bet. How the hell can the American government fire someone in industry? Unless, of course, he's Hugo Chavez."
With that, the reporter followed up with a question about what made the ex-CEO finally give up and give in, and go gently into that good night.
He replied as he emptied his glass for the eigth time, "When I found that bloody Buick next to my toes in bed, I knew the man was serious."
