image for Obama vows to get tough on Afganistan, Pakistan

In a conference in Washington this past Friday, president Obama attempted to address some of the issues facing United States security.

Obama reassured the American public that he had not forgotten the past transgressions of terrorist sects against the United States, and intends to follow through with measures to both punish past infractions, and prevent new terrorist attacks.

President Obama put forth a detailed and promising strategy for the future, but unfortunately details were not clear due to Secretary of State Clinton continuously attempting to grab the microphone and speak over the President.

Ms. Clinton appeared to have some clear ideas of her own regarding the issue, and could be seen visibly elbowing the president out of the way on several occasions.

At one point, it seemed as though Ms. Clinton responded to a question addressed to "Mr. President".

Towards the end of the conference, the Secretary had to be removed from the podium, and could be heard yelling "My job! My job!".

Despite these minor interferences, the President was able to convey a sense of strength and perseverance that resounded with the American public.
