PARIS - In perhaps one of the most unusual adoptions in the history of adoptions Angelina Jolie who is 33, and her live-in partner, Brad Pitt who is 45, are making plans to adopt Madonna who is 50.
Brad and Angelina, aka Brangelina, have three biological children as well as three adopted children.
When Ms. Jolie was asked if she didn't think it somewhat odd for someone to be adopting a person who is actually 17 years older than her replied, "No."
She was then asked if Madonna had agreed to the adoption proceedings and Jolie replied, "Yes."
Just then Pitt chimed in and said that Angie was tired and that she would have to go upstairs and take about a 17-minute afternoon nap because all of this adoption chatter had made her tired.
Pitt told reporters that adopting Madonna was really no big deal, and that it was something that he and Angelina had been talking about every since Madonna's divorce from Guy Ritchie was first finalized.
He stated that if they adopted Madonna in France, then according to French Adoption Law, her two biological children and her one adopted child would automatically be adopted as well.
Pitt was asked if Jolie wouldn't feel a little bit threatened by having an attractive and sensuous woman like Madonna living under the same roof.
He grinned and replied that it would not be any problem at all, since his soon-to-be 50-year-old step-daughter is presently dating an 18-year-old Brazilian male model, whose name she has already had tattooed on the back of her upper left thigh.
When Madonna was contacted and asked to comment on the new adoption she replied, that she was touched that a couple such as Brad and Angelina thought so much about her that they would be willing to adopt her, even though they already have six kids.
She added that she has told Braddy and Angie that she will pay the electric bill, the water bill, the cable bill, and that she will be in charge of buying toys for all of the nine kids.
In a developing story, talks are under way between representatives of Paramount Pictures and agents for Pitt, Jolie, and Madonna about having them all appear in a sequel to the Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor classic film, Cleopatra. The new motion picture will be entitled, Cleopatra - Before The Damn Asp Bite.
