image for Blagojevich Likens His Plight To Gandhi, Mandela, MLK
Higher than a kite

Starting his new series of interviews under the guidance of Drew Peterson's public relations firm, Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich sat down with The Today Show's Amy Robach to tell his side of the story.

When speaking of his arrest on December 9th, the Governor told Ms. Robach, "I thought about Mandela, Dr. King and Gandhi and tried to put some perspective to all this and that is what I am doing now." The interviewer countered, "You are comparing yourself to Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King Jr? What are you smoking, because I want some of it."

In other news, Guiness has announced a new record of 23 million people worldwide simultaneously rolling their eyes.

Make Daniel Williams's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
