Illinois Governor Blagojevich, who is involved in the early stages of being impeached, has decided to pretend that none of this is happening.

Blagojevich, who has amused the world in recent weeks, seems to have mistaken being elected as a State Governor with being granted special "wild card" powers, is being impeached for attempting to rally off Obama's former senate seat. Throughout his ordeal, the Governor has steadfastly refused to acknowledge that any of this is happening to him, and shows no indication of softening in his position anytime soon.

When told that the impeachment process would be starting on Monday, Governor Blagojevich called a press conference to announce that he just doesn't believe they are doing this to him, and therefore won't be attending his own impeachment.

Legal experts from around the world are abuzz, frequently commenting that this legal maneuver has never been used in such a way, and pondering what the final outcome will be.
