Girls Aloud try to work out what a piano is used for

In a statement issued today, it was incorrectly revealed that the $200 million philanthropic donation from Bill Gates was being given to fight polio.

However, the newsdesk has since received a corrected version of the aforementioned statement to reveal that he has actually donated the $200 million towards the eradication of Julio.

It seems that Bill Gates has a morbid fear of the disease "Whendaebegins", or to give it its correct medical terminology, Julio Iglesias Singinitus Outatunus, or Julio for short.

Mr Gates is adamant that while the western world has seen the almost total eradication of Julio, it can still be caught in some Latin American countries and in Wombwell Town Hall near Barnsley in South Yorkshire.

Furthermore, he is worried that there might be a resurgence of the disease, where it could potentially destroy the tranquility of Michael Buble, the depression of Morrissey, the dulcet warmongering of the Gallagher Brothers or the sheer stupidity of Sugarbabes.

Mr Gates hopes that by 2012, or at the latest, quarter past eight, all visible signs of Julio will have been eradicated from the world as we know it.
