Hollywood has finally completed the script for the biopic on the historic election of Barack Obama and have signed an actor to play the lead role. The actor, a well respected and Oscar winning contract player for many years with the Disney studios, will begin rehearsals this week, with filming scheduled to begin in February. The movie is scheduled to be released in November to coincide with the anniversary of the election.
Mickey Mouse will portray Barack Obama in the film.
When asked why a cartoon character was hired, Producer David Kingston gave the following explanations: "We wanted to go for total authenticity here, and these two have so much in common."
"Obviously, we had to hire a black actor for our biography and Mickey fits the bill. We also needed someone with funny ears and a squeaky voice; Mickey was again perfect for the part."
"Looking past the physical characteristics, however, the two have a lot in common in their private lives. Neither one is able to produce a viable, verifiable birth certificate. Both have strong relationships with women whose names start with "Mi" (Minnie and Michelle). Both have huge fan bases among the uneducated, unemployed, and the illiterate (yes, Mickey's fans are too young for school or work, but you know what I mean)."
When asked if they had any other qualities in common, Kingston said that "both are really good actors. Both have good friends who are dogs (Goofy and Oprah). Both can credit Hollywood for their success. Finally, I think that both have had their greatest successes in the world of make believe."
There is no word who will play Joe Biden in the picture as Grumpy Old Men stars Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon are both dead.
