Britney Spears is back at No. 1, with her "Circus", that has been her life.
For the first time in more than five years, Britney topped the Billboard 200. Her new album Circus sold more than half a million copies for the week ended Sunday.
"Britney was smart to go back and get those members of great old bands for her "Circus" reports Rolling Stone editor, Donald Jackass.
"She's got members from the Elephant's Memory, the Monkees, the Animals, Buffalo Springfield, Flock of Seagulls, the Byrds, Three Dog Night, Jay & The Americans, Counting Crows, Country Joe & The Fish, Sopwith Camels, the Eagles, Turtles and even the Rythym Pigs."
"This gives Spears the second biggest female bow of the year, topping debut weeks by Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey and only trailing Taylor Swift by a slim margin. Once the final retail receipts are counted, the album should claim the seventh biggest bow of 2008."
"I don't think Beyonce counts because of the free bikini calendar."
"Now if we can just keep her away from Dr. Phil, barbers and having another baby, I believe she's on her way back."
