image for Obama 'Troubled' By Mother Teresa Dream
Mother Teresa was devoted to the Virgin Mary

In an interview with Larry King, President Elect Barack Obama revealed that he had been visited by Mother Teresa in a dream and that he was 'troubled' by it.

In a candid interview with the braced and bespectacled talk show host Obama confessed that the dream had made him think again about his liberal stance on the abortion issue.

He said that Mother Teresa had been very gentle but firm with him telling him that now as President he would have to take an 'all embracing' stance on the subject and not just continue with his 'liberal democratic attitudes'.

Obama said he was surprised at the clarity of thought shown by the saintly nun and that she seemed to know American politics 'inside out'.

She reminded him that his responsibility was now to all Americans Republicans and Democrats and to future generations born and as yet unborn.

"I wouldn't say it was like a 'Damascus' experience said the Senator,"I know I cant change everything overnight but it has really made me think about the awesome power that will be in my hands to change things for the better"

When I told Michelle about it she said "Oh honey its just a dream, just forget about it, it ain't real"

"But it was real to me" continued Obama to King who was urging him to reveal more in this fascinating revealing interview.

Unfortunately at this point Obama was interrupted by another panelist on the show who asked him about the new puppy that has caused so much attention, and the interview changed from serious to the banal and the subject was never mentioned again.
