WASHINGTON, D.C. - President-elect Barack Obama announced his transition team last week and this week First Lady-elect Michelle Obama has named her transition team.
Motion picture actress Halle Berry has been named to be 'The First Mama-Elect Transition Team' leader. Mrs. Obama stated, "Miss Berry is very intelligent, she's well versed on internal affairs, and she knows that Africa is a continent and not a country, unlike you-know-who from up in Alaska".
When Mrs. Obama's husband, Barack heard of the Halle Berry selection he remarked, "I am President-elect Barack Obama and I absolutely approve of this selection."
Other members of Mrs. Obama's transition team include Beyonce, Whoopi Goldberg, Kanye West, Britney Spears, Mrs. Tim Duncan, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Tony Romo, Condoleezza Rice, and Katie Couric.
Movie star Will Smith was asked to join the team but had to decline because he is in the middle of filming his latest motion picture entitled, "Men in Black and Bad Boys in Bling-Bling Rob Fort Knox."
In related news, Barack and Michelle Obama's daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, have also formed their own transition team. 'The First Kiddoes-Elect Transition Team' includes Kermit the Frog, SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Tico the Squirrel, Ying Ying the Weasel, and Gassy the Gas Pump.
