image for Terrorist found lurking under Capitol
Guy Fawkes: the original one

In sensational news, authorities have arrested a foreign national who was in possession of numerous sticks of gelignite acting suspiciously in the basement of the Capitol building in Washington.

The arrest occurred just as Barack Obama was claiming victory in the Presidential Election for the USA.

The unknown individual, without any obvious links to known terrrorist groups, was nabbed about 5pm by a group of cleaners returning from a day of work within the people's chamber. When asked his identity, the British speaking character said his name was Guido Forks and that he was a tourist guide working within the Capitol.

On his person was a well constructed cache of gelignite with appropriate timers and detonators to activate what would have been a destructive explosion. The man denied he was trying to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day by lighting up half of Washington.

The President, George W Bush, wanted to thank the man for trying to do what he had failed to in four years of Democratic control on Capitol hill. Not too late for a Presidential Citation George.
