image for McCain Campaign Shows Obama Lapel Pin is a Hammer and Sickle!
Campaign foto seems digitally manipulated

A new McCain campaign attack ad shows Barack Obama giving a speech to a screaming crowd on a vast tundra. The camera pans the crowd and the Democrat candidate but then seems to search for a lone figure off in the distance across a bay.

The camera slowly zooms in on the figure, a woman now visible with a telescopic lens on a high powered moose gun. The camera assumes the moose gun sites view and the charismatic speaker comes clearly into view. The figure is studied fro head to toe until a close up reveals a faint image of a lapel pin. It is clearly not an American flag but at first it is too blurred to be positively identified.

That is until the camera zooms in closer and the hammer and sickle of the former Soviet Union comes into view. The gunner raises her rifle and walks away in obvious disgust. a voice over somberly warns: Vote for John McCain before it's open season on the hammer and sickle!

Make Pointer's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
