(Washington D.C.) -- The White House has announced today that in order to make the war in Iraq less foreign to the American people it will be changing the names of many of the Iraqi Cities and most it's population to names that are more easily pronounced.
To start with the Country name Iraq will now be spelled A-Rack. Baghdad shall now be known as Bushville and Mosul, Karbala and Kirkuk shall be renamed Rumsfield, Halburtland and Ashcrofton respectively.
The measure known as the Ellis Act will also act as a template for changing Arab names to English. For example, the name Mohammed will now be Bill if it is a first name and Jones if it is used as a sir name.
The new President of A-Rack, Sheik Ghazi Mashal Ajil al Yawer, will henceforth be known as Charlie McCarthy.
The White House denies that the renaming has anything to do with the Presidents inability to pronounce the difficult names, but added that the Abu Ghraib Prison shall now simply be called The Slammer.
