Philadelphia PA-- Freddy Mack of South Philly is still waiting for the check in the mail. Freddy, 83, and his wife Fanny May say the government promised them lots of money. They even heard their names mentioned on the news a few times.
Freddy Mack lives on a small pension and social security. He remembers last month when his wife called him to watch something on TV.
"The Action News lady mentioned Fanny May and Freddy Mack on the 11PM news, I was listening!" he remembers. "They said the guv'ment would give us $150 billion. I want my money." said the elderly retiree.
Mrs. Fannie May Mack also is waiting for the dough. "I had a real nice celebration last week for the whole family. I spent $500.00 on the food. And someone wrecked the refrigerator also, so I want that fixed." said the elderly community activist.
Freddy Mack wanted to make one last point but his wife sharply interrupted:
"Yo, anyone listening?? Where's the dough, goombah. You ain't gonna get away with not giving me all that loot. I heard it on the news. I am Fanny Mack and I want my money or I will get the biggest lawyer and sue your asses! And I want the Action News lady to come fix my refrigerator!" yelled the irate community activist.
