image for Vice President Cheney Threatens to Resign
How can Halliburton survive without Fannie May bial out money?

United States Vice President Dick Cheney threatened to resign in a cabinet meeting today from his office (there are only three months left of his term). Cheney stomped out of the meeting and left the White House in a huff.

When asked to explain the VP's actions, a White House Press Secretary said that "Mr. Cheney is upset that there are no earmarks in the billions of dollars of bail out money for Halliburton."

When finally reached at the Vice President's home in the old Naval Observatory, Cheney was still hot. "They are looking at saving the companies that save America and are forgetting what side the bread is buttered on. Where would we be without our oil? This is the first year and only year of our administration when Halliburton has not shown record profits, and they don't get any of this money?"

"Does George Bush forget who has been pulling his puppet strings for the past seven and a half years? Does he forget who it is that trys to make him look like less of an idiot? Does he forget which oil company has kept him in power?"

"Forget it! I'm just going to quit and leave him dangling in the wind. Maybe then people just might notice how stupid he is."

When asked about Cheney's comments, the general American response on noticing how stupid Bush is was "Too late for that!"
