This man failed to realize the irony of the video.

(Mazon, Ill.) -- The people of Mazon, located in downstate Illinois, failed to realize the irony of a VHS copy of "Twister" stuck in a tree after Sunday's tornados.

The storm, which allegedly destroyed several homes in the area, lodged a copy of the film "Twister" in a maple tree. "Twister" was a 1996 blockbuster movie starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt as a pair of storm chasers in love.

When asked about the irony of this particular movie being stuck in a tree resident Keith Myroth replied, "My two year old daughter died in this storm and you are asking me about a f***ing movie?"

The irony of the tape was lost on local law enforcement as well. "Um, we are trying to get three people out of the basement of this house, can this wait until later," said Sheriff Bryan Metzger.

Condition of the tape is unknown at this time. It could be difficult to replace if it has been rendered unplayable. "What's a VHS tape?" a Best Buy stock boy continued, "And who is Helen Hunt?"

Make Erik Konner's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
