The Prince of Wales appears to be even closer to moving to America. A source close to Prince Charles revealed that the Royal Family has purchased a suitable residence for the heir apparent to the throne. Speaking on the condition on anonymity, the source said, "Prince Charles narrowed his search for suitable real estate to a lovely castle in Wichita, Kansas." Prince Charles has a long held interest in architecture, and was thrilled when he first saw a picture of his new residence. The castle, while small by British standards, meets all the requirements of Prince Charles, and will be known simply as "White Castle". The Prince is a strong advocate for traditional architecture, and anyone who takes a long close look at the lines of White Castle will understand why Charles is so excited about moving in.
"I'm certain Camilla will adore our new home. She took one look at the kitchen and just fell in love with the place!" said Prince Charles as he was leaving Clarence House this morning. "We plan on leaving White Castle just as it is. It is simply too charming to change anything!"
Charles and Camilla plan on inviting many of Wichita's finest citizens to a hamburger meal once the couple settles in at White Castle. Camilla is known to be fond of the steamed onions served with White Castle hamburgers. "Onions are one of my favorite foods... I also like oats and carrots."
Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall will appear on the CBS show "60 Minutes" and will be interviewed by Andy Rooney -- a long-time fan of British Royaly.
Prince Charles accepted an invitation from former President Jimmy Carter to vist several peanut farms and discuss organic agriculture. Prince Charles said, "I will not be visiting President Bush because it seems likely he is going to be indicted along with all his friends in the White House."
While Price Charles is turning compost piles, his lovely bride Camilla will be visiting relatives at Belmont, Pimlico, and several other race tracks.
