Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin is at the centre of US political news again, after a graphic video clip of her mopping up some vaginal discharge reached more than 1 million hits within two days of being posted on YouTube.
The Alaska governor has reinvigorated the sagging candidacy of Senator John McCain, and grabbed the nation's attention with her stunning good looks and bubbly personality. Now though, her image appears to have taken a turn for the worse, after this latest incident.
Republican party members rallied round to support Mrs Palin, after the footage mysteriously made its way onto the internet, and claimed last night it was the work of operatives ent by Barack Obama to plant tiny recording devices inside her home.
Senator McCain, himself, said:
"This is an invasion of Mrs Palin's nether regions. It is totally unacceptable, quite disgusting, and we will be working towards having it removed from the YouTube site, and burned onto disks for posterity."
Senator McCain is very old.
