NY/NY The New York Times - Never missing the opportunity to take advantage of a partisan news event, the defeated Presidential Democrat candidate ironically bowed out of a planned demonstration at the UN, calling the event "TOO partisan." The decision came after it was announced that Gov. Sarah Palin was also invited to join Jewish groups protesting Iran's President Ahadinejad's UN speech.
Cynical Insiders say the NY Senator was concerned that Gov. Palin looked better in a pants suit than she did, and was leery of any photo op comparisons. Also, by turning off Jewish voters that overwhelmingly vote Democratic, she could subtly sabotage Obama's relentless march to the White House, clearing the way for a 2012 run.
One admiring fan said, "she is the ultimate Rat-Fucker", a reference to a recent Spoof Article outlining Sen. Obama's two-faced approach to the Iraq troop withdrawal program. "By preaching one thing and working behind the scenes to secure another, she continues to be one of the best at having it both ways," the fan said.
Clinton was also miffed that at Babra Striesand's Obama fundraiser, which she did not attend in view of the alleged relationship between her husband and the songstress, that Striesand dedicated her hit "Don't Rain On My Parade" in quickly passing over the Senator's failed bid for the Presidency.
A spokesman for one group of Jewish protesters said he expected members would be asking for a refund on $42 million of the $66 million raised for the Obama campaign last month. "No sense throwing good money after bad," the frugal fundraiser said.
