image for Las Vegas Issues Odds on Hurricane Gustav

Las Vegas, Nevada (IPP) - Odds makers at the Lost Wages Casino in Las Vegas are betting that New Orleans won't get it right when Hurricane Gustav, currently south of Haiti, approaches New Orleans as a category 4 or 5 hurricane in about six days.

One bets manager told reporters that New Orleans could easily have evacuated its people using school buses and other government vehicles when Katrina hit but failed to do so because they were complacent and did not heed official warnings about impending doom. The manager said that New Orleans residents are lazy and only interested on where their next buzz is coming from.

Reports from the National Weather Service (NWS) pinpointed to within 15 miles where Katrina would make landfall 4 days before the storm hit New Orleans - while the storm was just off the Key West area. Officials at the NWS fear that history will repeat itself all over again in the next few days. One scientist who wanted to remain anonymous said that the Katrina scenario would repeat itself numerous times until taxpayers get the hint and refuse to subsidize the rebuilding of New Orleans which lies below sea level.

Another individual at the NWS says that New Orleans is famous for its urine and feces infested streets, transvestite hookers, use of ilegal drugs, and for having the most crooked police force in the nation and that they deserve everything they get. "Its like Sodom and Gomorrah over there and it sucks," she said.

Make drugtestallpoliticians's day - give this story five thumbs-up (there's no need to register, the thumbs are just down there!)
